Our team
People & roles
The people behind an association should be named accurately — or not at all until they can be.
Typical responsibilities
The roles below describe responsibilities commonly found in Latvian associations. They are subject to the association's actual statutes and governance documents.
President / Chairperson
May oversee organisational leadership, represent the association within authorised limits, and support implementation of approved objectives.
Board members
Make decisions within the authority given by the statutes and the members' meeting.
Secretary
May maintain official records, support correspondence and document meetings in line with the association's rules.
Treasurer
May support financial recordkeeping, budget preparation and reporting, if this role exists.
Program coordinators
May help plan and deliver approved cultural, sports, community or volunteer activities, where such roles are formally established.
When names are published
For each confirmed person we intend to publish their name, official role, a short verified biography and responsibilities — with their consent, and with contact details only where authorised.
