Program 01
Cultural Development and Creative Expression
Culture is something people do, not only something they watch. This proposed program would create small, welcoming opportunities for people to explore creative interests, hear one another's stories and take part in cultural life at a pace that suits them.

This program is not yet running. Activities listed are possibilities, not scheduled events.
Specific activities will be published only when they are genuinely planned.
Purpose
Encourage opportunities for cultural appreciation, creativity, learning and exchange.
Intended audience
- Residents of Dundaga and the wider Talsu novads
- People of any age curious about creative activities
- Amateur performers, makers and storytellers
Potential activities
- Cultural learning sessions
- Creative workshops
- Community discussions
- Artistic and cultural presentations
- Cultural exchange activities
- Educational materials about traditions and creative expression
Intended benefits
- A sense of belonging built around shared creative interests
- Confidence in trying something new
- Wider appreciation of the many forms culture can take
Accessibility
Venues, timing and materials will be considered with different needs in mind. Anyone with a specific access requirement is welcome to contact us in advance so we can discuss what is realistically possible.
Implementation approach
Activities would be developed step by step, beginning with small sessions, and only announced once a date, place and responsible organiser are confirmed.
Evaluation
Once activities begin, we intend to gather simple, voluntary feedback from participants, reflect on what worked and what did not, and adjust future plans accordingly. We will not publish outcome figures unless they come from genuine records.
